A surprise visit from Shelby

Red and Shelby to most seemed to have drifted away from one another. Maybe that was true in a way, both had a demanding career that would always keep them apart. He was always willing to try and when he got to see her it was always an amazing time. He knew her race schedule was busy and he had been busy with trying to lure new talent to the college.

Tonight he was at home relaxing as she was sure to have been told if she went to his office looking for him. He had grabbed a shower and not expecting company was just relaxing in a pair of boxer briefs, so when he heard the door he kind of said fuck it and answered it like that. It was his place after all right?

Red knew he shouldn't be thinking of another student in the ways he was thinking of Shelby Manning, but god damn if she didn't do something to him. It took a lot of will to not want to act on it but even the strongest men could be weak. It helped that as far as he knew she was oblivious to his thoughts and probably didn't even think of him outside of him being a teacher and a coach.
